HENRY THE EIGHTH - DISASTER
HOLE FOR SCOT IN MOROCCO

Henry dropped out of the top 20 and finished tied 34th after a
disastrous 8 at the par-4 eighth in the final round of the European
Tour's Hassan Trophee tournament at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Rabat in
Morocco today (Sunday).
Henry,
after promising rounds of 71, 71 and 73, crashed to a closing 79 with a
294 total - 11 shots more than the play-off participants, Jeunghun Wang
(South Korea) and Nacho Elvira (Spain).
Henry
dropped seven shots over a span of seven holes - bogeys at the
seventh, 12th and 13th and a quadruple bogey 8 at the eighth. His only
birdie came at the 14th but he cancelled that out with a final bogey at
the 17th hole.
Chris Doak finished tied 63rd on 299 with scores of 72,73, 78 and 76.
Wang became the third Asian in a row to win on the European Tour when he won the play-off at the second extra hole.
Englishman Robert Rock finished a close-up third.
