Flooded Deeside course re-opens on Friday

Golf Club's Haughton Course will re-open as an 18-hole course on
Friday, almost five months after the River Dee flooded the course and
left a covering of mud all over the Bieldside parkland venue when it subsided.
"We were flooded on December 23 and then Storm Frank hit us on December 30," said director of golf Frank Coutts.
"Hopefully the Blairs course will be in play the following Friday."
A lot of work has been done by the greenkeeping staff and a lot of money has had to be spent on returfing areas.
