Eric McIntosh finishes sixth behind Peter
McEvoy Trophy winner Mark Power

Ireland's Mark Power, pictured, won the prestigious Peter McEvoy trophy boys' 72 hole tournament at Copt Heath Golf Club, Solihull in the West Midlands today.
Power, from Kilkenny Golf Club, shot rounds of 70, 68, 71 and 68 for an aggregate of 11-under-par 277. He follows in the footsteps of Gavin Moynihan, the last Irish youngster to win the prestigious tournament.
Power won by two strokes from Jack Ainscough (Hartlepool) who scored 73, 68, 72 and 68.Leading Scot was Eric McIntosh (Bruntsfield Links), the new Scottish boys' champion, who maintained his overnight sixth position with a final round of 71 for 282. His earlier rounds were 68, 71 and 72.
Rory Franssen (Inverness) finished 32nd after saddling himself with a third-round 78. He had a pair of 71s on the first day and finished with a 72 for 292.
