Thomson and Wright tie with 65s at 

 

Garmouth and Kingston

Kevin Thomson (Moray) and Jeff Wright (Forres) tied  for first place with two-under-par 65s in the opening North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture of the season at Garmouth and Kingston Golf Club on Saturday.
Both recorded halves of 34 and 31. Kevin birdied the seventh, ninth, 11th, 13th, and 18th, offset by  bogeys at second, eighth and 14th. Jeff birdied the second, 10th, 11th and 14th and dropped shots at the fourth and 12th.

Bob Adams (Moray) holed his tee shot with a five-iron at the ninth (153yd). His playing partners were Bill Duncan (Moray), and Iain Hamilton (Elgin).
