Sam Nicholson rallies to win Fife boys' title

Sam Nicholson (Ladybank) won the Fife boys' match-play championship at Charleton.
After being five down on the ninth tee, he came back strongly to win by one hole against John Paterson (St Andrews New).
Results:
 Semi-finals - J Paterson (St Andrews New) bt L Ratcliffe (Thornton) 2 and 1, S Nicholson (Ladybank) bt S Paterson (Lundin) 4 and 3.
Final - Nicholson bt Paterson 1 hole.
