Dollar's Scott Borrowman has won his first tournament as a professional.
He
came out on top in a three-man play-off with Spaniard Xavi Puig and
Austrian H P Bacher after they had tied on four-over-par 220 at the
conclusion of a 54-hole event on the new Mediterranean Tour at Allegria Golf Club, Cairo, Egypt.
Over a tough par-72 course, Borrowman, pictured, had rounds of 76, 72 and 72, Puig 76, 786 and 68, Bacher 75, 74 and 71.
Borrowman got up and down from off the green to par the first play-off hole while his opponents both had bogeys.
Other
Scots in the field of 42 players were Ben Craggs (tied 10th on 230),
Conor O'Neil (16th on 233) and Fraser McKenna (34th on 246).
