SCOTS TIE FOR 20th PLACE ON ALPS
TOUR IN ITALY
John Henry and James White tied for 20th place in the final Alps Tour event before its Qualifying School - the Abruzzo Open at Miglianico Golf and Country Club Italy.
Henry shot rounds of 73, 67 and 71 for two-under-par 211.
White had the same aggregate over the par-71 course with rounds of 76, 67 and 68. They earned 595 Euros each.
Michael Stewart finished joint 43rd on 217 with scores of 75, 70 and 72. He earned 242 Euros
Spain's Juan Antonio Bragular won the top prize of 5,800 Euros with a 12-under-par total of 201, a shot ahead of Tobias Nemecz (Austria) and Spain's Eduardo Larraanga.
