MILLPORT PLAYER'S OUTSTANDING
CRAIG PIRIE WINS GLASGW YOUTHS'
TITLE BY NINE SHOTS WITH 131 (-9)
Craig Pirie
of Millport won the Glasgow youths open championship at Ralston Golf Club on Saturday with a fabulous aggregate of nine-under-par 131.
Rounds of 67 and 64 gave Pirie, pictured right, a nine-stroke victory over four players tied on 140.
The fine weather and
course condition resulted in some other very good individual rounds, including
a 66 from Ben Craggs, 67s from Stuart Cameron, James Wilson and Scott Grant and a 68 from Scott Wearing.
The County
Team Trophy was won by Glasgow's
Craig Chalmers, Scott Wearing and Blair
Dalgleish.
