NEWMACHAR, MURCAR LINKS WIN

ABERDEEN PENNANT SEMI-FINALS

Newmachar and Murcar Links today (Sunday) won their way through to the final of the Aberdeen Pennant League, sponsored by the Cults Hotel.
The final match will be played on Sunday, September 14 at a neutral venue, Stonehaven Golf Club, starting at noon.
Both semi-finals were strongly contested and ended in 3-2 winning margins, Newmachar beating Nigg Bay at Portlethen while Murcar Links just edged out Portlethen at Deeside.
