PITLOCHRY PLAYERS MAKE SURE TITLE STAYS AT HOME

HUTTON BEATS ROSE IN ALL-LOCAL 


HIGHLAND OPEN SCRATCH FINAL
 

The Highland Open golf championship final was contested by two members of the host club, Pitlochry.
Victory in the scratch contest went to Willie Hutton who beat Mark Rose by 2 and 1.
Downfield's Ken Hill beat Mark Harrison (Dore and Totley) by two holes in the handicap final.
The senior section was won by Jim Hanson (Ladybank) who won at the 20th in a marathon final against Graeme Hume (Falkirk Tryst).

HIGHLAND OPEN FINALS
Scratch: Willie Hutton (Pitlochry) bt Mark Rose (Pitlochry) 2 and 1.
Handicap: Ken Hill (Downfield) bt Mark Harrison (Dore and Totley) 2 holes
Seniors: Jim Hanson (Ladybank) bt Graeme Hume (Falkirk Tryst), at 20th.
