BEAT EAST KILBRIDE IN FINAL AT KIRKHILL

LANARK ARE JUNIOR COUNTY CHAMPS

Lanark Golf Club are Lanarkshire junior champions for 2014 beating East Kilbride 3 1/2-2 1/2 in the final at a sun-drenched Kirkhill Golf Club today.  The match was a very closely fought affair and was settled only with the last putt in the last match.

In the third/fourth place play-off Drumpellier pipped Bothwell Castle on holes up after the match finished 3-3.
RESULTS 

Semi-finals - Lanark 3, Bothwell Castle 3 (Lanark won on countback); East Kilbride 4, Drumpellier 2.

Third/fourth place play-off - Drumpellier 3, Bothwell Castle 3 (Drumpellier won on countback).

Final - Lanark 3 1/2, East Kilbride 2 1/2
