STEWART IN TOP TEN IN SPAIN

Ayrshire's Michael Stewart is in joint eighth place in a field of 117 at the Alps de Andalucia tournament at Real Golf Club de Guadalamina in southern Spain today (Thursday).

Stewart shot a three-under-par 69 with five birdies and two bogeys to be three shots behind the leader, Spaniard Alvaro Salto.

James White from Fife and Edinburgh's John Gallagher are tied 30th on 71 while John Henry is joint 48th on 72.
