DUNTON HOME IN 30 TO LEAD BY ONE
AT TENNANT CUP HALFWAY
Adam Dunton came home in 30, including five birdies, for a two-under-par 69 and a halfway total of two-under 140 in the Tennant Cup after the first two rounds at Glasgow Gailes.
The McDonald Ellon player leads by one shot from Scott Gibson (Southerness) (70-71) with three players on 143 - Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle) 71-72, Ryan Campbell (Falkirk) 71 72 and Ben Ferguson (The Vines) 72-71.
Players with totals of 154 and better qualified for Sunday's final two rounds over Glasgow Golf Club's Killermont course.
Last year's Tennant Cup winner, Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie), did not enter because of a clash of dates with the British amateur championship at Royal Portrush.
