RUSSELL KNOX MAKES CUT - BUT TIGER LIKELY TO MISS IT

Russell Knox has made the cut in this weekend's US PGA Tour event - but Tiger (back-in-form) Woods looks certain to miss it. Same goes for Phil Mickelson.
Bad weather forced a long delay in the second day's play in the Greenbrier Classic at White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The second round will not be completed until Saturday morning local time.
Webb Simpson has completed his first 36 holes and he leads at nine-under-par 131 with scores of 65-66.
Russell Knox, desperately needing to win some prizemoney to avoid losing his player's card, tied together two good rounds, 69 and 68, to be T36 on 137.
The projected cut mark once the second round is completed is 139 or better to qualify. Well, Tiger Woods has shot 71-69 for 140 and Phil Mickelson is even worse off - a pair of 71s for 142.
