RUSSELL KNOX JOINT FIFTH ON HOOTERS TOUR Russell Knox had an eagle and three birdies in a second-round 69 which lifted him up to joint fifth with a round to go in this week's Hooters Tour Winter Series event at Timacuan Golf Club, Lake Mary in Florida. The Florida-based Inverness exile is on five-under-par 139, having begun the tournament with a two-under 70. He is four shots behind the leader, American Michael Thomson, who has had rounds of 69 and 66 for 135, and two shots behind second-placed Will Wilcox (66-71).
