NE Alliance debate: Where have all the pros gone?

Tomorrow we are going to open a debate on why the number of professionals and assistant professionals competing in the North-east Alliance has dwindled from a high of 20-odd - maybe more - 20 years ago to today's figure which never or seldom reaches double digits.
