Stiggy Hodgson wins Peter
McEvoy Trophy play-off

Stiggy Hodgson (Sunningdale) won the Peter McEvoy Trophy at Copt Heath Golf Club this evening.
He beat Eddie Pepperell (Drayton Park) at the first hole of a sudden death play-off.
They had tied on two-over-par 250.
The leading Scot was England-based Stuart Ballingall. He finished sixth with rounds of 71, 36, 71 and 75 for 253.
Sam Binning (Ranfurly Castle) dropped out of the title chase over the last two rounds in which he scored 78 and 74 to finish joint eighth on 254.
New Scottish boys' match-play champion Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) had a good last round of 71 in difficult conditions, a cold easterly wind coming in from a different direction than on the first day.
But it was too little, too late by Michael. He finished 27th on 261 with scores of 73, 38, 79 and 71.
Colin Thomson finished 35th with rounds of 74, 36, 80 and 74 for 264.
If the Copt Heath club ever get round to putting up the final totals on their website - still not up at 11pm Thursday night, we shall tell you what they are on this website.
+Scottishgolfview.com is grateful to photographer Tom Ward for supplying the Scots' scores.
