PGA EuroPro Tour Final Qualifying School

Overnight leader McCalman goes
into free fall at Frilford Heath

Scot Chris McCalman suffered a spectacular fall from the overnight top of the leaderboard in the PGA EuroPr0 Tour Final Qualifying School at Frilford Heath Golf Club, Oxfordshire today.
McCalman followed up a five-under-par 67 with a 13-over-par 85 in which he had a triple bogey at the ninth and doubles at the first, second and 18th.
He will started the third round in joint 73rd place on 152.
At the top of the leaderboard, Englishman Paul Maddy has opened up a two-shot advantage with scores of 73 and 66 for three-under-139.
The top Scots are former Walker Cup amateur Lorne Kelly (Cowal) and one-time Scotland amateur international Graeme Brown from Montrose. They are sharing 23rd place on 146. Kelly shot 74 in the second round, one better than Brown.
