ADAM LINDSAY LOSES LEAD AND
FINISHES SECOND IN IOWA


Banchory's Adam Lindsay, the first-round leader with a two-under-par 69, finished runner-up in the Midwest Classic Collegiate Conference golf championship over the 6,382yd Bear Creek course at Forest City, Iowa.
Lindsay had a second round of 76 for a total of 145 and was beaten by three shots by title-winner Cole Reiman with 72 and 70 for 142.
Graeme Molloy (Grand View College) from Glasgow finished joint 17th on 152 with a pair of 76s.
Iowa Wesleyan College (596) finished second in the team event behind winners St Ambrose University (592).
Grand View College (598) were third of the nine competing teams.
