FRASER MANN WINS WITH 63 AT D&G
Musselburgh professional Fraser Mann shot a seven-under-par 63 to win the top prize of £915 by four strokes in the Kerr Investments shotgun pro-am at Dumfries & Galloway Golf Club today.
Mann’s bogey-free scorecard contained birdies at the second, fifth, sixth, 12th, 15th, 16th and 18th in halves of 33 (three under par) and 30 (four under).
Craig Lee (All Golf Swing Centre) and Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) were joint second on 67.
Scottish PGA champion Dean Robertson (Czech Design) led the Billy’s Taxis trio of Billy Wylie (7), Stuart Craig (11) and Billy Boyd (18) to victory in the team event with a net score of 19-under-par 121.
