TARTAN TOUR TRIO FOR SPAIN

Scotland’s representatives in the PGAs of Europe international team championship in November will be the first three in the PGA Scottish Region Order of Merit – Greig Hutcheon (Peterculter), pictured right, Dean Robertson (Czech Design) and Craig Lee (All Golf Swing Centre).
Traditionally the four-round tournament has been played at a Costa del Sol venue but this year it is to be hosted by the Roda Golf and Beach Resort in the Murcia region of Spain.
This new Dave Thomas-designed course has been open for play since June.
Last year, Scotland, with a team of Scott Henderson, Chris Kelly and Chris Doak, finished joint third with England (581) behind winners France (577) and runners-up Ireland (579).
The top 10 placings in the Tartan Tour Order of Merit were:
