DEAN ROBERTSON TIES WITH JAMES
McKINNON FOR VICTORY ON 141
Dean Robertson is finishing the Tartan Tour season in style. Today, he tied with James McKinnon (Irvine) for first place in the Callaway 36-hole Order of Merit event at Lanark.
It was Dean's fourth win during the month of September and his sixth in all this year, including of course his capture of the Scottish PGA title at Gleneagles.
Robertson, pictured right, had rounds of 71 and 70 for a one-over-par total of 141 at Lanark where McKinnon scored 69 and 72.
Both men earned £1,040.
Greig Hutcheon (Peterculter) and another man with strong North-east links, Fraser Mann (Musselburgh) tied for third place on 143. Greig scored 72 and 71, Fraser 69 and 74. Both men picked up cheques for £821.
