MEN'S HOME INTERNATIONALS DAY 2

IT'S SCOTLAND v ENGLAND FOR
THE TITLE ON FRIDAY

It will be Scotland versus England for the men's home amateur international championship on the final day at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club, South Wales on Friday.
Both teams have a 100 per cent record after two days' action.
Today title-holders Scotland followed up their 8-7 win over Ireland with a more emphatic 9-6 victory over Wales who, like the Irish before them, had held the Scots to 2 1/2pt apiece in the morning foursomes.
Scotland took the singles by a 3pt margin – 6 ½-3 ½
In the singles Lloyd Saltman halved the top match with Matthews but Richie Ramsay was back in top form with a 6 and 5 win over Walker Cup team-mate Edwards.
Glenn Campbell, having a very good series, won by 3 and 1 over Cousins.
Scott Jamieson was held to a square match by teenager Zac Gould.
Jonathan King lost to Mills by one hole.
Scott Henry is still searching for his best form. He halved with young Enoch.
Scotland debutant Keir McNicoll from Carnoustie will be feeling much better with a good win under his belt. Not fielded in the morning foursomes, McNicoll, pictured above, hit the ground running in the singles and beat Evans by 4 and 2.
John Gallagher won by two holes over Dykes.
George Murray found he was up against the star man of the Welsh team – Walker Cup player Rhys Davies in the No 11 singles berth! Davies won by 6 and 4.
England trailing Ireland by 2pt after the morning foursomes swept away the challenge by taking the singles 7 1/2-2 1/2 for an overall 9-6 victory.
