DAILY TELEGRAPH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Graeme Mitchell (Northern), Sally Watson (Elie & Earlsferry Ladies) and Roseanne Niven (Crieff) have been confirmed as members of a 21-strong party bound for the magnificent resort of Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on Wednesday, October 11.
They are making the all-expenses-paid trip to compete for the Daily Telegraph junior golf championship from October 15 to 17.
Graeme Mitchell qualified with his eight-under-par record round of 62 at Hazlehead.
Roseanne also earned her place with a course record score – a seven-under-par 67 at her home club, Crieff. Graeme and Roseanne topped the sub-par scores' table which were the basis for qualification nationwide.
Sally, now based at the IMG Academy in Florida, is the only girl to be awarded a sponsors’ invitation on the strength of her performances this season. She and Roseanne Niven were members of the title-winning Scotland team in the girls’ home internationals and Sally also played for Scotland in the women’s home internationals.
Previous winners of the championship include Andrew Coltart (1986) and Mhairi McKay in 1991.
The 21 finalists will stay for a week at a luxury holel - the Park Hyatt - and play the world-famous Dubai Creek course, designed by European Tour player, Thomas Bjorn.
