SCOTTISH COUPLES QUALIFY FOR
PORTUGAL GRAND FINAL
Callander couple Steven Fraser, who plays off one, and Elizabeth Morgan, a 22-handicapper, won the 12th and last area qualifying tournament for the Bader Cup mixed foursomes tournament.
They had a Stableford points score of 44 – one point ahead of runners-up Eric Dalgleish (3) and Gillian Lovety (handicap 30), both from Old Ranfurly Golf Club.
Both pairings go forward to the Grand Final at Morgado Golf Club on Portugal’s Algarve in November.
