CARLY SHARES DUKE OF YORK LEAD

SCOT TO THE FORE IN EARLY RETURNS
AT DUNDONALD LINKS

Carly Booth, 14, from Comrie via Florida was sharing the girls' clubhouse lead in The Duke of York Young Champions Trophy tournament at 1p.m. today.
Carly shot a one-over-par 73 over the new Dundonald links at Gailes in Ayrshire. Miss Booth's score was later matched by Christine Wolf (Austria) and Katerina Ruzickova (Czech Republic).
In the boys' section, Swedish boys champion Robin Wingardh was the clubhouse leader with a one-under-par 71.
