BOYS AND GIRLS IN RUNNING FOR SCOTS TEAM

 

The Scottish Schools Golf Association has named boys’ and girls’ short-leet squads for the schools international match against England at Hillside Golf Club, Lancashire on Monday, September 18.

A team of 12 boys and six girls will be selected from the following:

 

BOYS – Simon Barras (Vale of Leven Acad), Ross Bell (Harris Acad), Sam Binning (St Columba’s High), Mark Bookless (Uddingston Grammar), James Byrne (Banchory Acad), Andrew Campbell (Vale of Leven Acad), Joshua Clarke (Montrose Acad), Mark Collin (Eyemouth High), Michael Daily (Trinity High), Danny Fitzpatrick (Notre Dame High), David Graham (Campbeltown Grammar), Cameron Gray (Glasgow High), Neil Henderson (North Berwick High), Michael Main (Balwearie High), Fraser McKenna (Boclair Acad), Euan McLaren (Dumfries (Acad), Alan Murdoch (Stranraer Acad), Graeme Robertson (Larbert High), Chris Robinson (Douglas Ewart High), Paul Shields (Trinity High), Kyle Smith (Marr College), Colin Thomson (Hutchesons Grammar), James White (Buckhaven High).

GIRLS – Megan Briggs (Gryffe High), Krystle Caithness (Waid Acad), Rachael Livingstone (Musselburgh Grammar), Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Acad), Gillian Monteith (Stranraer (Acad), Laura Murray (Alford Acad), Roseanne Niven (Kilgraston School), Pamela Pretswell (Hamilton College), Jane Turner (George Watson’s College), Sally Watson (Mary Erskine School), Rebecca Wilson (Monifieth High).

Michele Thomson (Ellon Academy), winner of the Scottish schoolgirls title at Troon earlier this month, was unavailable for selection as she will be at Jacksonville State University, Alabama in September.
