ST ANDREWS, September 5, 2019 – Multi-talented actor, musician and avid golfer Justin Timberlake, is to play for the first time in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, alongside World No 4 Justin Rose.

Timberlake and Rose have paired before in the ATandT Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Former World No 1 Rose has fond memories at the Alfred Dunhill Links, having finished runner-up in 2007.  The 2013 U.S. Open Champion and 2016 Olympic gold medallist looks to continue a solid 2019, following a win at the Farmers Insurance Open and a third place finish at the US Open at Pebble Beach.

Justin Timberlake, a ten-time Grammy award-winning musician and four-time Emmy award-winning actor, has sold more than 32 million albums and 56 million singles, making him one of the most popular artists on the planet. He has been named twice by Time magazine as one the 100 most influential people in the world.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which takes place from September 26-29, celebrates links golf at its finest and is played over three of the world’s best known and respected courses – the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie and the highly regarded Kingsbarns Golf Links.
With a prize fund of US$5 million, the Championship incorporates two separate competitions - an individual professional tournament for the world's leading golfers and a team event in which the professionals are paired with some of the most celebrated amateur golfers which creates a unique atmosphere.

This is the 35th year that Alfred Dunhill has supported golf at St Andrews, through the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and previously the Alfred Dunhill Cup. With the addition of the Alfred Dunhill Links Foundation in 2011, millions have been raised for charity.

Admission is free for all spectators over the first three days with final day tickets on Sunday, September 29 available to purchase at the entrance gates for £20 (Concessions £15), or in advance here
