Paul O'Hara wins Cawder pro-am and boosts 2019 earnings to close on £20,000

By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Paul O'Hara, the leading money-winner this season on the Tartan Tour, moved close to the £20,000 mark in 2019 earnings when he collected first prize of £1,292 in the Cawder pro-am today.

O'Hara (North Lanarkshire Leisure) shot a five-under-par 65 with a bag of six birdies offset by a solitary bogey at the 13th in halves of 32-33.
He won by one stroke from Neil Fenwick (Dunbar) and Zack Saltman (Winterfield) who had matching halves of 34-32.
It looked like being a triple tie for second place but Greig Hutcheon (Torphins) had his only bogey of the round at the 18th and slipped back to joint third place on 67.
Some consolation for Hutcheon in that he led the Enviraz 1 team to a one-shot victory in the team event with a net total of 127.
