Hannah "very happy" with 3rd place finish 

on debut as pro in South Africa

Hannah McCook from Grantown on Spey finished joint third in a field of 66 at her competitive debut as a professional, the South African Women's Masters at San Lameer Country Club at the weekend.
She said:
"I'm very happy with third place in my first event as a professional and my first event representing Gleneagles at the South African Women’s Masters.
"Big thanks to the Sunshine Ladies Tour and San Lameer Country Club for hosting and running a great event!
 "Thank you to Gleneagles, Nike Golf and PING Golf for the support!"
McCook, who won 24,100 Rand, had rounds of 72, 74 and 71 for a total of one-over-par 217, two behind the two South African players who figured in a play-off for first place.
Second Scot in the final totals was Gabrielle Macdonald (Craigielaw) with rounds of 77, 71 and 75 for 223 and 14th place. She earned 5,425 Rand
Jane Turner (Dalmahoy Hotel) finished 25th with scores of 79, 71 and 77 for 228. She earned 5,425 Rand.
Laura Murray (Kippie Lodge) finished T26 on 229 with scores of 75, 77 and 77 to earn 4,125 Rand.
Scottish amateur Alison Muirhead missed the cut with scores of 85 and 79 for 20 over par 164
