Dingwall wins North Alliance competition

at Forres with a four-under 65

 

Scott Dingwall (Grantown on Spey) won Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Forres by one shot with a four-under-par 65. His last win was at Hopeman in February 2017.
The Forres field numbered 94 competitors, the biggest entry since the 2015 championship.

The ninth hole was played as a par 4 and the 10th was around 70 yards shorter than normal following slippage issues around the ninth green which is currently out of play for safety reasons.

Dingwall birdied the first, third, fifth, seventh, 16th and 18th in halves of 33 (two under) and 32 (two under).
