Craig Lawrie just outside leading 10 on Algarve

Craig Lawrie was in 11th position in a field of 31 players after a first-round 69 at the 36-hole Palmares Classic II on the Algarve.
Lawrie was four strokes behind joint leaders Nathan Brader (England) and Portugal's Hugo Santos.
Stonehaven's Sam Locke was well down the field with a 74 which included an early double bogey 6 in halves of 38 and 36.
