Armstrong wins Midland Alliance pro-am
with a 74 at Fairmont Torrance course
Burntisland assistant professional Craig Armstrong won the scratch section with a two-over-par score of 74 at the Midland Golfers' Alliance's Graham Pest Control pro-am, played in very windy conditions over the Torrance course at Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews.
The team event was won by by four strokes by professional Erik Walker (Leven Links), Mark Anderson (Leven Thistle) (+1), Ian Murray (Leven Thistle) (1) and David Murray (Leven Thistle) (6). They had an impressive score of 133.
