Neil Henderson wins Bernard Gallacher Trophy at Glencorse

Sixty-seven Edinburgh and East of Scotland Alliance Members received a very warm welcome at Glencorse Club to contest The Bernard Gallacher Trophy on the par 64 (32,32) course.
 
Norman Huguet the Musselburgh pro, set a stiff target in the first game with a 62 (30 out and 32 back) but two games later Neil Henderson of Renaissance Club pipped him by one shot to set the winning score of 61 (29 out and 32 back) and earn the top scratch score. He also secured his name on the trophy.

T3 Kieran Cantley (Liberton) - 64
T3 Chris Curran ( Bathagte( - 64

Top Handicap Prizes were -
T1 Donny Munro (Kingsknowe) - 63 (66 less3)
T1 George Wither (Liberton) - 63 (67 less 4)
3. Ross Noon (Renaisance Club) - 65 (64 +1)

Top Trainee
Calum Allison (Glenbervie) - 71

Top Senior
Willie Laing (Prestonfield - 66 (78 less 8).

 
It's early days for Order of Merits but top 3s are -

Scratch
1. Kieran Cantley (Liberton) - 114.0
2. Joe Bryce (Bathgate) - 108.5
3. Richard Johnston (Glenbervie) - 105.0

Handicap
1. Brian Thomson (Kilspindie) - 37.7
2. Donny Munro (Kingsknowe) - 36.0
3. Daniel Crolla (Kingsknowe) - 33.5

Next week it a visit to Eat Lothian where the Andrew Oldcorn Trophy will be contested at Royal Musselburgh.
