    Golf D'Hardelot (European Tour)
Golf D'Hardelot (European Tour)

The first stage of European Tour Qualifying School is now over and a final 46 players have booked their trip to Second Stage.
In Portugal, Spaniard Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez cruised to an eight-shot victory, finishing on 18 under par for four rounds. A total of 21 players, all of whom settled on two under par or better at Bom Sucesso, will now move to the next stage of European Tour qualifying, which runs from November 2-5.
The other site of First Stage’s final section was located in France, as Golf d’Hardelot hosted European Tour hopefuls for the eighth successive year.
American Kurt Katayama marched to an eight-stroke win of his own, as 24 other players, who carded 72-hole scores of four under par or better, secured their place in November’s Second Stage.
Second Stage of European Tour Q-School will take place simultaneously at four different sites in the first week of November where players will once again have to rise to the top over four rounds of stroke play competition.
+ Apologies for listing Craig Lawrie and Michael Stewart among the qualifiers. That was our original information which was later reversed.
Scots James Ross, Daniel Young and Jack McDonald did advance to the next stage
