Scots finish just outside top 10 in Eisenhower Trophy

Denmark (541) won the 31st men's world amateur team championship for the Eisenhower Trophy in Ireland today.
In the tightest of finishes, the Danes prevailed by a single shot after four rounds over USA (542) with Spain (544) third and New Zealand, long-time leaders, finishing fourth on 545.
England (549) finished eighth, Ireland T10 on 553 while Scotland finished T12 in a massive field of 72 teams. The Scots had a total of 554.
Their individual scores were:

287 Euan Walker 73 69 71 74

Wales finished T18 on 560.
