We are the champions! Scotland win women's home internationals at Ballybunion

Scotland won the women's home internationals title at Ballybunion Golf Club on the Atlantic coastline of southwest Ireland this afternoon on a countback after beating Ireland, the defending champions, 6-3 while England beat Wales 6.5-2.5.
Scotland, Ireland and England all won two matches out of three and the Scots prevailed in the countback with 17 games won to England's 15.5 and Ireland's 15.
It was Scotland's first victory in the tournament since 2010
The Scotland team was Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey), Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam, Chloe Goadby from St Andrews, Hazel MacGarvie (Troon Ladies), Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) and Scottish champion Gemma Batty (West Linton).
