No place like home for Hayston pair in Capts/Secs Tournament West Final

Hayston Golf Club's Jim Smart and Allan Shearer, playing over their home course,  won the Belhaven Captains and Secretaries Tournament's West Regional Final at Hayston Golf Club today on a card countback.
Smart and Shearer had a better-ball net score of 61 which was matched by Ralston's Kenny Gough and Alex Kenny but the latter pair lost out on a comparison of the scorecard figures.
Linn Park's Ross Dunn and James Thomson finished third on 62.
A total of 38 club pairs took part.
