P and K win Scottish boys' area team title

Perth and Kinross won the Scottish boys' area team championship by a four-stroke margin from joint runners-up Renfrewshire and South at Eastwood Golf Club, Glasgow today (Sunday).
They were represented by Gregor Graham, Cormac Sharpe, Fraser Matthews and Alex Simpson who scored 142 in the foursomes and 216 in the singles for a 358 total.
North-east, whose team was made up of Cameron Black, Ruari Mair, Cameron Gray and Ellis Gray, finished fourth on 364 (foursomes: 144, singles: 230).
Fife (D Walsh, C Leeson, J J Lockhart and C Akers) came sixth on 367 (152-215).
Angus (Ross Barclay, Glen Maxwell, Phil Brown and Graeme McDonald) finished joint 10th on 384 (159-225).
North finished joint 14th in the field of 16 area teams. Represented by Steven Pears, Fraser Owenson, Lewis Bryce-Maynard and Jake Williamson, North had a total of 392 (162-230).
