Alan Tait's 64 earns him £916.85 at Hayston pro-am

Alan Tait (59 Club), with a bogey-free round of six-under-par 64, won the top individual professional prize of £916.85 in today's (Saturday) Hayston Golf Club shotgun start pro-am.
Starting at the eighth, Tait birdied the 12th, 16th, 17th, 18th, sixth and seventh.
He won by two strokes from joint runners-up Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) and Paul O'Hara (North Lanarkshire Leisure) who earned £641.58 apiece for their 66s.
O'Hara led the winning Abacus Blinds team of Brian Minnes (handicap 12), Joe Minnes (13) and Alan Minnes (6) to victory in the pro-am by three strokes with a net team total of 119.
The five leading pros in the pro-am each received £110 - O'Hara (119), Gavin Hay (122), Alastair Forsyth (125), Scott Henderson (125), Gareth Wright (127).
