Andrew Crerar one of only four Scots to survive cut in Senior PGA professional championship

Only four Scots survived the cut to the leading 50 and ties in the Senior PGA professional championship at Foxhills Golf Club today.

Anglo Calum Callan (Cottesmore) is in joint eighth place on 148 (73-75) and the other Scots still with an active interest in the 54-hole tournament are Stuart Savage (Dalmuir), 74-76 for 150 and T15, Andrew Crerar (Panmure) 78-75 for 153 and T36, and Murray White (unatt) 77-77 for 154 (T45).
Among those now on the sidelines are PGA Cup captain Albert Mackenzie from Lossiemouth (79-76 for 155), Lindsay Mann (Carnoustie), 83-73, and Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs), 79-77, both on 156, Edzell club pro Alastair Webster with 81-76 for 157, Kenny Hutton (Downfield) 80-86 for 166, and Billy Lockie (Gailes) 86-84 for 170.
Leading the chase for the £6,000 first prize is Englishman Mark Ridley (South Moor) who has scored 68-71 for 139 and leads by one
