Murcar Links 1,  McDonald Ellon 4

Banchory  0,  Newmachar  5  (Banchory could not field a team).

Editor's note: Where have all the junior golfers gone in the North-east of Scotland?Hazlehead withdrew from the above league on the eve of it start, saying they did not have enough juniors to field a team (five pairs are needed for each match and there is nothing to stop an all-girls team being fielded!) and, above, you will see that Banchory could not field a team at home to Newmachar.

It is so true that there are far more senior golfers than there are junior ones.
