The University of Highlands and Islands reached the semi-finals of the 96th Scottish student golf championships' men's team play tournament with an 8-4 win over Strathclyde University.
But waiting for them in the last four are the red-hot favourites, Stirling University's No 1 team who thrashed Glasgow University 11.5-0.5 in their quarter-final.
UHI lost the foursomes 3-1 to Strathclyde but got their act together big time in the singles, winning seven of the eight afternoon ties to more than make up their morning deficit.
The second semi-final will feature St Andrews University No 1 team against
Stirling University's No 3 team.
St Andrews whipped the Stirling No 3 team 9-3 but in the other quarter-final Stirling No 2 squad beat St Andrews No 2 6.5-5.5
