Death of Dr Frank Deighton at age of 90

DEIGHTON Dr Frank W.G. Aged 90, peacefully, on February 23, 2018, at Clarence Court Care Home. Retired GP, Scottish golfer and member of the R and A, beloved father to daughters Nicky and the late Ruth, and husband to the late Marna. 
Thanks to staff at Clarence Court for their care and to all friends who visited over many years. Private funeral service in Glasgow.

A past Walker Cup player (1957 at Minikahda Golf Club)  who represented Scotland in the annual home internationals many times between 1950 and 1960, Frank also deserved credit for designing Isle of Skye's golf course.

David Miller tells me: "I met Frank at Hilton Park, where we were both members. He was a distinguished member of the R and A also Western Gailes and Glasgow.
