Bryce and McNeill outside top 30 at Poppy Hills GC, Pebble Beach
Scots Joseph Bryce from Bathgate and Duncan McNeill from Annan, both students at Toledo University, are in T32 and T55 positions respectively after the first round of the St Mary's Invitational college tournament at Poppy Hills Golf Club, Pebble Beach in California.
Bryce shot a two-over 73 at the 7,002yd course and McNeill a 76.
Four players are sharing the lead on four-under 67 at the head of a field of 100 players:
Justin Suh (Southern California)
Patrick Fishburn (Brigham Young)
Brad Reeves (Arizona)
Parathakom Suyasri (Colorado State)
San Francisco (281) lead the team title race ahead of Stanford and Colorado State (both 283).
Toledo (300) are 14th of 18 teams after the first round
