McNicoll and Campbell joint winners of Midland Alliance competition at Downfield 

This week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition at Downfield Golf Club, Dundee produced a tie for the scratch prize between  assistant pro Keir McNicoll (Carnoustie Links) and Monifieth scratch amateur Fraser Campbell, both scoring one under par scores of 69 to finished two strokes clear of Dunkeld and Birnam's Stuart McKendrick.

McKendrick, a one-handicapper,  took the first handicap prize with a net 69
