Steven Brown's 64 elevates him to a

 share of the Luton lead

EUROPEAN TOUR COMMUNICATIONS
Steven Brown climbed up the leaderboard by carding a fine second round of 64 during the third day of the Bridgestone Challenge.
Yesterday heavy rain flooded the course at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa which caused play for the day to end prematurely – and led to the second round finishing today.
The Englishman still had the majority of his round left to complete when play resumed at 8am this morning, but Brown showed no signs of sluggishness as he carded four consecutive birdies between holes 15 and 18 to reach the turn in 31.
The 30 year old, who currently sits in 23rd place in the Road to Oman Rankings, bagged four more gains over the front nine, his back nine, to sign for a 64.
By scoring 14 birdies and four bogeys during his first 36 holes, the man from Surrey accumulated 24 points in Modified Stableford – a new format for the Challenge Tour this week – to share the halfway lead with France’s Julien Guerrier.
