Rain Delayed Event

Day 2 at Ratho Park Golf Club saw the rain come down heavily on the course at the start of play, causing a delay of 30 minutes while the greenkeepers and Mother Nature got to work in clearing the water.

Many thanks to all the greenkeeping staff at Ratho Park for all their hard work it in getting the course ready for the boys and girls.

Yet again the boys and girls showed us all, how the game should be played, by going round the course in no more than 3hr 30min while maintaining a high standard of golf.

The girls are receiving a five-stroke deduction over the boys on each day because of the standard scratch score. The CSS for the second day was 66 for the boys and 71 for the girls.

The score of the day came from Owen Abu Baker with an excellent scratch 71 in tough conditions.
