Shinkwin bogeys last hole, then loses AAM

Scottish Open play-off to Cabrera Bello

Spain's Rafa Cabrera Bello beat England's Callum Shinkwin at the first hole of a sudden death play-off to win the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Dundonald Links this evening.
Former Walker Cup player and English amateur champion in 2013, the front-running Shinkwin needed only a par at the 72nd hole to win the title by one shot.
Instead he bogeyed the hole for a 68 and a 13-under-par total of 275.
Spain's Rafa Cabrera Bello was already in the clubhouse with a 275 total, having returned a 64 in the final round.
Matthieu Pavon (France) finished third, three strokes behind the play-off pair on 278 after a final-round 66
