James White wins Fife amateur match-play title
James White (Lundin), reinstated this season as an amateur, won the Fife men's amateur match-play championship at Scotscraig.
He also won the East of Scotland Open title over his home course last month.

White achieved a one-hole victory over Steve Aitken (Leven Thistle) in this afternoon's (Sunday) final over 18 holes.
White did not have to go past the 14th in winning his quarter-final and semi-final ties over the weekend but Aitken, who had squeezed through at the 19th against Sam Nicholson (Lundin) in the quarter-finals, made him fight all the way to the 18th green
